Barcelona will be looking to tie their EuroLeague quarter-final playoff series with Monaco when they host Game Four. They trail 2-1. Read on to find our prediction for this match.
Barcelona gave their hopes of winning this series a lifeline by winning Game Three. Joan Penarroya’s men were in good form as the series switched to Spain and won 100-89.
Five players scored in double figures, with Willy Hernangomez scoring a team high 19 points as well as adding 10 rebounds. Barca, who managed six steals in Game Three, led for much of the game, shooting 56% from the field.
Monaco are likely not to be fazed by the loss in Game Three as they still lead the series. Vassilis Spanoulis’s men defended home court in the first two games and have Game Four as a close-out fixture.
Victory here will send them back to the Final Four for the second time in their EuroLeague history. Monaco, who averaged 94 points in the first two games, turned the ball over 12 times in Game Three.
Five players scored in double figures, with Mike James and Elie Okobo putting up 20 and 19 points, respectively. Monaco have home court advantage and will be at home for Game Five if need be.

Our prediction for Barcelona v Monaco is that Barcelona wins the match. Barca were in excellent form in Game Three. They put up 100 points and won by 11 points. That strong performance magnifies how important being at home has been for them this season.
Barca have been at their best when at home and have now won 12 of 18 matches at Palau Blaugrana in Europe. They also have a dominant home record against Monaco. As momentum is with them now, we expect them to outlast a Monaco team that has struggled with rebounding in the playoffs.
