The Detroit Pistons will be at home to welcome the OKC Thunder for their next NBA regular season assignment. They come into this match as the bottom team in the Eastern Conference whereas the Thunder are top in the West. The Pistons are having a poor season and currently possess the worst record in the NBA. Monty Williams’ men have lost 40 of the 45 matches they have so far contested. They were defeated 118-104 last time out at home by fellow strugglers Washington. The defeat came after they had registered a 113-106 victory over the Hornets to end a three-game skid. As this is the second game of a back-to-back, the team’s injury report for this match is yet to be revealed. The Pistons have lost all 17 games they have played against West teams thus far. One of those was a 124-112 defeat in Oklahoma back in October.

The OKC Thunder have won their last five games and will be confident of a sixth due to Detroit’s struggles. Mark Daigneault’s men are coming off a 107-83 victory over the Pelicans that took their record to 32-13. This hot streak has allowed them to move into first place in the West where they are half a game clear. OKC has won 15 of 23 away matches and currently has a 12-3 record against teams from the East. The team is ranked third on offence and is averaging 121.6 points a contest. Oklahoma's injury report for this match is also yet to be submitted. Olivier Sarr however did miss the Pelicans match and should again be the only absentee here.
