They come to this duel sitting third in the Western Conference, seven games clear of the sixth-placed Suns. The Nuggets are in red-hot form and have won their last six matches. Only the Celtics, who possess the best record in the league, have won more consecutive games. Mike Malone’s men are coming off a 124-114 victory over the Lakers in LA. This win took their record to 42-19, tied with second-placed OKC and half a game from top spot in the West. Having won three straight against the Suns, Denver will be confident of a win here.
