The Denver Nuggets will be at home in the NBA to welcome the Oklahoma City Thunder for the second time in two weeks. Denver is second in the Western Conference and is a game ahead of third-placed OKC. The Nuggets arrive here having won their last six matches. This is currently the longest winning run and began immediately after they lost to the Thunder at home. Michael Malone’s men were for only the second time this season defeated at home and lost by a point a fortnight ago. That defeat ended a three-game winning run and they will be weary of their high-flying visitors. Denver won the first matchup of the season in Oklahoma and will now be looking to go ahead in this series. The Nuggets, who are coming off a 37-point blowout victory over the Grizzlies, will be without Aaron Gordon.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are expected to have a fully fit squad for this match as they did in their last fixture. OKC have won their last two games and defeated the Knicks 129-120 last time out at home. It was their 20th victory of the campaign and took their record to 20-9. Mark Daigneault’s men are one of two teams in the West still with a single digit in the loss column. The other is conference leader Minnesota whom they trail by two and a half games. OKC have won the last two times they have been away to the Nuggets which should add to pumping up their confidence levels. The visitors are ranked fifth in points per game so far and are averaging 121.3 points. This is also the most by a team from the West.
