The Denver Nuggets will be at home to welcome the Boston Celtics for a mouthwatering regular season clash in the NBA. Denver are currently third in the Western Conference while Boston are top in the East. The Nuggets saw a six-match winning streak snapped last time out and they will be eager to get right back on the horse. Mike Malone’s men fell undone 117-107 at home to the Suns for their 20th defeat of the season. This left them one game behind top spot in the West. The Nuggets, who have averaged 111.3 points over their last three fixtures, defeated the Celtics in the reverse match. They won a close contest 102-100 back in January with the loss, Boston’s first at home this season. Denver do not have a long injury list and only long-term absentee Vlatko Cancar has been ruled out here.

The Celtics are also coming off a loss and just like their hosts, will be eager to immediately get back on track. Joe Mazzulla’s men relinquished a 22-point lead away to the Cavaliers and lost 105-104. Their 13th loss of the season snapped an 11-game winning run which was the longest by any team this season. Boston have been the team to beat this year and possess the best record in the NBA having won 48 of 61 games. Many have them as the team to deny Denver back-to-back titles and they will seek to prove this here. The Celtics have lost their last two matchups with the Nuggets with the recent defeat ending a 20-0 start at home this season. Jaylen Brown has at least 20 points for the Celtics in their last six games since the All-Star break. He has however been listed as ‘Questionable’ for this trip. The Celtics have averaged 127.3 points over their last three fixtures.
