The Denver Nuggets and the Atlanta Hawks will match up next in the NBA at the former’s Ball Arena. Denver currently sit second in the Western Conference while Atlanta are 10th in the East. The Nuggets lost their hold on top spot last time out and they will be eager to regain it. Mike Malone’s men suffered their third loss in the last five games by going down 102-100 to the Clippers in LA. Their 24th loss of the season left them trailing current West leaders Minnesota by half a game. Denver, who have won five of the last six matchups with Atlanta, have five more regular season fixtures to navigate. One of those is a home game against the Timberwolves. Aaron Gordon, Nikola Jokic, and Jamal Murray are questionable for the Hawks’ visit. The Nuggets, who have already confirmed a playoff spot, have averaged 113.3 points over their last three matches.
