The Dallas Mavericks will be at home to welcome the Houston Rockets in the final regular season matchup between the two. They arrive for this game in fifth place in the Western Conference, nine games clear of the 11th placed Rockets. The Mavericks have defeated the Rockets twice already this season. A third victory will see them secure this series 3-1 and strengthen further their chances of securing an automatic playoff spot. Jason Kidd’s men, who have so far compiled a 47-30 record, are currently two games clear of the play-in places. They have five more regular season matches left to navigate. The Mavs have been in exquisite form for almost a month now. They have lost just twice in their last 15 outings and are currently on a two match winning run.
