The Dallas Mavericks will be at home against the Denver Nuggets looking to get back to winning ways in the NBA. Denver have assumed top spot in the Western Conference while Dallas are down in eighth place. The Mavericks saw a four-match winning streak snapped last time out by the Thunder who defeated them 126-119. This was their 29th loss of the season and saw them drop one game back from the automatic playoff places. Jason Kidd’s men will therefore be adamant they do not fall further behind in the race for a top-six place. Dallas have struggled against the Nuggets and have lost both matchups this season. Luka Doncic missed the trip to Oklahoma due to a troublesome hamstring and could again be absent here. The Mavs have averaged 118.3 points over their last three matches.

The Denver Nuggets will be out for a win here to continue their current hot streak. Mike Malone’s men have won 11 times in their last 12 games and are on a five-match winning run. Another win here will be their fourth successive against the Mavs and will see them sweep their regular season series 3-0. The Nuggets have been at almost full strength and have no recent injuries to report before this game. Vlatko Cancar remains a long-term absentee. Denver have averaged 114 points over their last three matches.
