Dallas Cowboys vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction & Betting Tips - NFL

The NFL season moves onto the wild card round as the Dallas Cowboys host the San Francisco 49ers. Dallas are the third seeds in the NFC after winning the East division with a 12-5 record. That saw them finish three wins ahead of runners-up Philadelphia Eagles. The winners of this match take on the top seeded Green Bay Packers in the divisional play-offs, so not an easy task ahead. Dallas ended the regular season with four wins in their final five games. There were plenty of points being scored by the Cowboys with over 50 points scored in their games against Washington and Philadelphia. Their only loss in the last five matches was a three-point loss to Arizona. 

San Francisco finished third in a very competitive West division. They had a 10-7 season record that put them behind LA Rams and Arizona. The 49ers are the seventh seeds in the NFC but have done well to get that high. A place in the wild card play-offs wasn't looking too likely when they only won three of their first eight matches. Five of the next six games were won to put them back in contention and their place was confirmed when winning their final two matches. They needed OT though to get a win over the LA Rams in their final match of the regular season. Despite the four place gap in seedings,this won't be easy for the Cowboys but they look to be in good form and scoring lots of points. Go for them to get through.
