Denmark take on Croatia in this vital Women's European Handball Championship main round match. The Danes are second in the group behind Norway, who they play in their final match. Croatia are fifth in the group with two points, a couple less then their opponents. The Danish team won two of their three preliminary group matches to finish second behind Sweden in Group B. Two points were carried through to this main round group and that total was doubled with a 29-27 win over Hungary.

Croatia need to get a win here to keep their semi-final qualification hopes alive. They finished second in Group A of the preliminary round with a win, draw and a defeat in their three matches. Their opening main group match was tight at half-time as they only trailed Slovenia by one goal but the hosts drew clear in the second half, winning 26-18. Denmark should get the win here, go for over 50.5 goals to be scored in this match.
