The Cleveland Cavaliers will play host to the Indiana Pacers at Rocket Arena in the NBA on Friday night. The Cavs (10-6) are fourth in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Pacers (2-13) are 14th. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won seven of their last 10 games but enter this one looking to bounce back from a 114-104 defeat to the Houston Rockets here in midweek. 

Cleveland gave up 33 points in the first quarter and were down by as many as 17 by halftime. De’Andre Hunter top-scored with 25 points, while Donovan Mitchell finished with 21, ending his three-game streak of 30+ points. 

The Cavs will want redemption here, having lost three of their four regular-season games against this opponent last season, while it was also the Pacers that sent them packing in the Playoffs 4-1. 

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers managed to bring an end to their eight-match losing streak by beating the Hornets 127-118 on Wednesday.

While Tyrese Haliburton’s injury has had an impact on the team’s performance, it is concerning to see just how much the Pacers have declined, currently 28th in scoring offence and 27th in scoring defence. 

Indiana have not won any of their eight away games this season, with six of those defeats coming by double digits.
