The Chicago Bulls will be at home against the New York Knicks seeking to get back to winning ways in the NBA. They currently sit ninth in the Eastern Conference standings whereas the Knicks are fifth. The Bulls have struggled to win games and in their last 13 matches have been defeated eight times. This poor return has left Billy Donovan’s men on the verge of losing their hold on ninth place. Chicago are currently just half a game clear of the 10th-placed Hawks with six matches left to play to conclude the regular season. The Bulls, who have compiled a 36-40 record, were defeated at home last time out by the Hawks. Atlanta won 113-101 to split the series at 2-2. Torrey Craig is questionable for the Knicks visit while Julian Philips has been ruled out. The Bulls have averaged 106 points over their last three matches.

The Knicks ended a three game skid last time out and will now seek to compile a winning streak ahead of the playoffs. Tom Thibeadou’s men were 129-109 winners over visiting Sacramento for their 45th win of the season. This halted them from falling closer to the play-in places. The Knicks, who are currently tied on the same record with the fourth-placed Magic, are three games clear of the play-in. New York defeated the Bulls in the first matchup of the season back in January. It was their fourth win in the last five meetings with Chicago. Their dominance in this fixture will have them confident of a win here as well as the subsequent two fixtures to come. The Knicks were dealt a blow earlier in the week when it was revealed that Julius Randle will not be available for the rest of the season. The forward hasn’t played since January and is set to undergo season ending surgery. O.G Anunoby is also a doubt for the rest of the regular season.
