The Chicago Bulls will be at home against the Golden State Warriors for the two teams’ first NBA matchup of the season. They come into the game sitting ninth in the Eastern Conference while the Warriors are 12th in the West. The Bulls have won their last three matches and this has allowed them to strengthen their grip in the top 10 out East. Two of the three have come with them as hosts with the latest seeing the Rockets fall 124-119. Billy Donovan’s men are now three games below .500. The Bulls won the last time the Warriors were in town and ended an 11-game losing streak in this fixture. Torrey Craig will continue to be out for the 13th consecutive fixture.

The Golden State Warriors have a longer injury report than their soon-to-be hosts. Chris Paul, Moses Moody, and Gary Payton will all miss this game. Draymond Green is also absent as he is suspended. The Warriors are in a bad place at the moment and have won only twice in eight outings. A slight positive from this though is that both of their victories have come against Eastern Conference opposition. They defeated the Magic as well as the lowly Pistons. But since that Pistons victory, they have lost back-to-back matches with the recent one being a 36-point blowout to the Pelicans. The loss left them three games below .500. Golden State has the 22nd worst-ranked defence and is allowing teams an average of 117.6 points a night.
