Brooklyn Nets vs Utah Jazz Prediction & Betting Tips - NBA

Utah Jazz have made a good start to the new NBA season and top the Northwest Division in the Western Conference. They look to get another win when travelling to the Brooklyn Nets who have only one team below them in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. Utah lost in the first round of the play-offs last season going down 4-3 to the Denver Nuggets. A disappointing result considering they led the best-of-seven series 3-1. This season got off to a mixed start with wins at Portland and Oklahoma City but defeats at home to Minnesota and Phoenix. The last two games have both been won though to take the Jazz to 4-2 for the season. They finally won at home with a 106-100 victory over the LA Clippers and then made it three wins in a row on the road with a 130-109 win in San Antonio. They come into this match top of the Northwest Division, one win ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers. They have the seventh best offense in the league and will enjoy playing the Nets who have a few defensive problems at present.

The Nets haven't had the best of starts to the new season. They will be hoping to do better than last season when making it to the play-offs but losing 4-0 to Toronto in the first round. Fouf or their first seven games this season have been lost under new coach Steve Nash. Their chances of winning the Atlantic Division isn't looking good as they already trail leaders Philadelphia 76ers by three wins. They got off to a good start though winning their first two matches against Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics with Kyrie Irving top scoring in both fixtures. The good start came to a sudden halt though with defeats by Charlotte and Memphis (after OT) though only by an aggregate of seven points. Another close match followed as they beat Atlanta by four points to take them to 3-2 for the season. However, Atlanta got their revenge on New Year's Day and then the Nets lost to Washington two days later by a single point.  The absence of Spencer Dinwiddie for the whole season isn't helping the Nets one bit and Nicholas Claxton is also likely to miss this game. If that wasn't bad enough, Kevin Durant is also out of this match as he's in quarantine after coming into contact with someone with COVID-19.  With concerns over the form of the Nets and the strong start made by Utah, the tip here is to go for the Utah Jazz to win this match.
