Bologna vs Roma Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Bologna have made a terrible start to their Serie A league season. They are 18th in the table with just one point from four games and are still waiting to score their first league goal. Their disappointing season began with a 1-0 home defeat by SPAL and followed that with their only point of the season, a goalless draw at Frosinone who are 19th in the table and they haven't scored a league goal either!  Their second home game of the season saw them face Inter and it was goalless with 24 minutes to go but Bologna still ended up losing 3-0. Their most recent game was a 1-0 defeat at Genoa. Their poor form has been going for a while now and Bologna have gone ten league games without a win with just one victory in the last 16 league games. They finished 15th in the table last season, four points above the relegation zone and lost 21 of their 38 league games.

Roma haven't made too strong a start to the season with five points from four league games and they are ninth in the table. Their only win was in the opening week when a 89th minute goal from Dzeko gave them a 1-0 win at Torino. A 3-3 home draw with Atalanta followed but they needed to come back from 3-1 down to get a point.  More disappointment followed in the next game as they conceded a 95th minute goal to lose 1-0 at Milan. Their most recent league game saw them give away a 2-0 home lead over bottom of the table Chievo. Midweek wasn't good either with a 3-0 away defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League. Only two of their last 28 away league games have ended in defeat and are undefeated in their last nine away league games at Bologna last losing in 2004. Roma aren't firing on all cylinders yet but can get an away win from this game.
