Olympiacos will host Paris Basketball in a top-of-the-table contest in the EuroLeague this Friday. The Greek side will be confident, going into a second straight match against French opposition. Read on to find our prediction for this clash.

Olympiacos will leapfrog Paris with a win here but a loss can see them drop out of the top five. The Greek giants are second in the table and are one game adrift of Paris with a 9-4 record.

Georgios Bartzokas’ men returned to winning ways last time out after Partizan had ended their six-match winning streak. They earned an 89-80 road win over Monaco but the victory came at a cost. Centre Moustapha Fall left the game early with a leg injury and is likely to be unavailable for Paris’ visit.

Paris are having an excellent debut season in the EuroLeague. They top the standings with a league-best 10-3 record. Coached by former NBA centre Tiago Splitter, Paris are currently on a 12-match winning streak across all competitions.

In Europe, they have won nine straight, which is the longest such run without defeat in the competition this season. The visitors, who are averaging 85.8 points, are coming off a 93-81 road victory over Maccabi.

Paris have lost just twice in their seven away matches in the EuroLeague.
