Olympiacos will welcome Partizan Belgrade for their next EuroLeague match. They enter this match with the best record after 27 rounds of play, whereas Partizan are five wins behind them in eighth. Below is our prediction.
Olympiacos are riding high; the only team to have won 20 games this season. Georgios Bartzokas’s men, who have won 10 of their last 11 games, have compiled an amazing 20-7 record.
They are two wins clear of their closest challengers, Fenerbahce, who play a day earlier. The Reds are currently on a four-match winning run in Europe.
They have averaged over 90 points in this streak and defeated Bologna 92-70 last time out. Nigel William-Goss missed domestic league action last weekend with an injury but is probable on the latest report.
Partizan won the reverse match 78-70. This was, however, back in November, and Olympiacos weren’t the top team in Europe.
But as they have been in great form recently, the Serbian visitors will be confident of the league double. Partizan have lost just three times in their last 21 games across all competitions.
Eight of their wins in this stretch came in Europe. Zeljko Obradovic’s men have clawed their way into the play-in bracket and are now seeking a top-six playoff finish.
Partizan have compiled a 15-12 record and defeated Baskonia 86-73 last time out.
