They currently sit 10th in the Eastern Conference and are seven games behind fourth-placed Cleveland. The Hawks are on a three-game winning run. This is the longest they have gone without defeat since winning four in a row in October and November. They have been able to claw their way into the playoff picture and will seek to strengthen their place. Atlanta has battled with a lack of consistency and is currently on a losing record. They have lost 23 of their 41 matches and 19 of those have been against fellow East teams. Trae Young has been ruled out for this match and will miss his second successive game due to illness. Wes Matthews, and De’Andre Hunter have also been ruled out. Atlanta secured an intense 109-108 victory over the Heat away in Miami last time out.
