Arsenal's run of successive wins ended on Sunday when they could only draw 2-2 at Crystal Palace, They still haven't lost a game since August and should have few problems getting a win in this game as they host Blackpool who are mid-table in League One. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last 12 games in all competitions and four of those have been in this competition and the Europa League when playing weakened line-ups, They have won their last six games at the Emirates and only Manchester City have beaten them in their last six home league cup matches.
It'll be a great night out for Blackpool but it's hard to see them coming anywhere near causing a shock. They are 12th in League One and five points adrift of the play-off positions but have two games in hand. Blackpool are the draw experts in League One with seven to date and have only lost two league games. One was on Saturday when losing 3-2 at Fleetwood (who play at a ground called Highbury but not Arsenal's forrner home of course). They have only won one of their last five away games and another win is unlikely here. Go for Arsenal to win this game, leading at both half and full time.
