The second match on Day 3 at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship will see Andrew Gilding taking on Cam Crabtree on Saturday. The winner of this match between Goldfinger and Shazam will meet either Chris Dobey or Xiaochen Zong in the second round. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Andrew Gilding has featured at the Ally Pally on several occasions in the past. His best performances in the competition were reaching the last 32, most recently doing so last year.
Goldfinger hasn’t won a major title this year, but did reach the final of the 2025 European Darts Grand Prix, the semi-final of the Players Championship 21, and the quarters at the World Matchplay.
Gilding lost to James Wade in the PC finals last month but has won four of his last 10 matches in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Cam Crabtree is another who will be making his debut at the World Championships this year. He dominated the Winmau Development Tour, finishing top of the Order of Merit.
This year has been a breakthrough one for Shazam, as he has made inroads on the PDC Players Championship circuit and reached the third round of the UK Open 2025.
Crabtree was eliminated by Chris Dobey at the PC finals and lost his only previous match against this opponent 6-1 in May last year.
