SportyTrader presents its data protection policy. We take the protection of the data of users of our websites and mobile applications very seriously. We respect everyone's concerns on this subject. In this policy (the "Data Protection Policy"), we describe our practices and our commitments.
This policy sets out the commitments we make for the protection of personal data.
This policy applies in addition to our general terms and conditions.

How is personal information collected?
Below you will find all the information relating to the management of the data we collect.
Information you choose to provide to us
We may collect information, including data that is personal to you, directly from you if you choose to provide it. For example, you may provide your name and contact details (such as an email address), your date of birth or other details of this nature when you sign up to our newsletters.
You may also choose to provide personal data about yourself when you register for a forum or any other service that requests such information. In the case of forums that are openly accessible to our community, please note that the information you post in these forums may be viewed by anyone who visits our sites or applications. We therefore advise you to avoid posting sensitive personal data that you would not want to be publicly accessible.
Information automatically transmitted when you connect to one of our sites or applications
When you visit our websites, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect certain information relating to your visit using tools such as cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies. The information automatically collected when you visit the website may include your IP address, details of your operating system, information about your browser and system settings, as well as data relating to the computer or type of mobile device you use to access the website.
We may also collect unique identifiers known as session identifiers, and data on your journeys across our websites (showing the page-by-page path you take when browsing our sites). The different types of cookies we use
The SportyTrader websites and mobile application use the following types of cookies:
- Technical cookies, which are used solely for the operation of the website.
- Operational cookies, which are used solely to provide the services requested by users on the website.
- Analytics cookies, which allow us to observe how visitors navigate the website and to determine the content they view and that interests them. They help us improve the service we offer you, by allowing us to ensure our users find the information they are looking for.
- Social cookies, which are used by social networks (Facebook, Google and Twitter) to control interactions with the social widgets featured on the website.
- Affiliate cookies, which allow us to track visitors coming from other websites with which we have entered into affiliate agreements.
- Behavioural and advertising cookies, which collect information about your preferences and choices associated with the website. They target advertising networks, which then use them to show you personalised advertisements on other websites.
Data retention and access to information
We will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was retained, for example to enable you to use our websites and products or to provide you with services.
In certain cases, we may keep the data longer in order to comply with applicable laws (including those concerning document retention), to resolve disputes with the parties, and for any other reason necessary to enable us to carry out our activities.
All the personal data we hold is subject to this privacy policy and to our internal retention guidelines.
In accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), you have the following rights:
- Right of access (art. 15): obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and obtain a copy of it.
- Right to rectification (art. 16): have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Right to erasure (art. 17): request the deletion of your data in the cases provided for by the GDPR.
- Right to portability (art. 20): receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object (art. 21): object to the processing of your data based on legitimate interest.
- Right to restriction (art. 18): request the temporary suspension of a processing operation.
- Withdrawal of consent (art. 7): withdraw your consent at any time for the processing that depends on it (newsletter, advertising cookies), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our technical providers (analytics tools, advertising networks) may process data outside the European Union. In this case, SportyTrader ensures that these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914).
Automated decision-making and profiling
SportyTrader does not carry out any fully automated decision-making producing legal effects or significantly affecting you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR, with the exception of the fraud detection mechanism described in the Member Area section below, which does not produce automatic effects without human intervention.
How we protect your personal information
We attach great importance to data protection. Accordingly, administrative, technical and physical safeguards are employed to protect the personal data you provide against accidental, unlawful or unauthorised destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use.
However and in any event, it is not possible to guarantee the security of information transmitted online, and you assume a certain risk with regard to the security of the information you provide through any website, including our sites. Links between our websites and third-party sites
There are links on our sites to other websites. Each of these sites has its own terms of use, content policy and data use policy. Under no circumstances are we responsible for the content, terms of use or privacy policies of websites that do not belong to us or that we do not control.

How we will inform you of changes to this policy
We may need to update our data protection policy. We advise you to consult this section regularly. In any event, we will indicate the date of its last update at the top of the policy.

SportyTrader Member Area & 2026 World Cup Prize Draw

As part of the SportyTrader Member Area, new processing of personal data is being implemented. This section supplements the general policy and informs you precisely about this processing, in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Recipients of the data
Your data collected as part of the Member Area may be transmitted to the following recipients, acting as processors within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR:
- OVH: provider of authentication and hosting of the user database. The data is hosted within the European Union. Supabase acts as a processor; Skores Media SAS remains the data controller.
- Mailjet: provider for sending transactional emails (confirmation, welcome) and marketing emails. The data transmitted is limited to the email address and the opt-in status.
- DepotJeux, via the office of Maître Doniol, judicial officer (7 rue Jean Jaurès – 77410 Claye-Souilly), in connection with the filing of the rules and the holding of the prize draw. Only the name and email address of the winner are transmitted for certification purposes.
No data collected as part of the Member Area is transmitted to third-party commercial partners for advertising purposes without your prior explicit consent.
3. Double opt-in and proof of consent
Registration for the Member Area requires confirmation by email (double opt-in procedure). Your participation in the prize draw is validated only from this confirmation.
4. Declaration of residence and fraud prevention
When you register, you declare on your honour that you do not reside in one of the countries excluded from the prize draw (list available in the rules). In order to prevent fraudulent entries, SportyTrader may carry out verification processing. This processing is based on SportyTrader's legitimate interest in ensuring the integrity of the prize draw. If a discrepancy is detected, your account may be flagged for verification before any prize is awarded. This processing does not produce any automatic effect without human intervention.
5. Account deletion
You can request the deletion of your account and all your data at any time by accessing the dedicated page on the SportyTrader platform or by contacting request@skores.com. Effective deletion takes place within 30 calendar days. You may withdraw your request during this period by contacting our support team.
In accordance with our legal obligations, the anonymised registration logs relating to your participation in the prize draw are kept for 3 years as evidence, including after the account is deleted.
