The 6-23 Washington Wizards will play host to the 15-16 Memphis Grizzlies in an NBA matchup late on Sunday night. The Wizards are 14th in the East coming in while the Grizzlies are 9th in the West ahead of our prediction on the game.

Washington picked up a win in their most recent outing, a 21-point victory over the Toronto Raptors. That was enough to lift them off the bottom of the Eastern Conference, 3-3 now in their last six.

One of those wins was a 130-122 success over these Grizzlies in Memphis just over a week ago. The Wizards are one of the youngest teams in the league, are they finally finding their feet?

The big issue for the Grizzlies have been the injuries. There is no NBA team with a longer list of missing players at present than Memphis. They have not enjoyed taking on the East this season, just 2-7 to this point.

They have won back-to-back games coming in, at a struggling Utah Jazz side and at home to the Milwaukee Bucks who were missing their star player, so for their fans, they at least arrive in some form.
