Venezia and Como are set for a relegation three-pointer this Sunday. The two Serie A strugglers will clash at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo with hosts Venezia looking to leap from the foot of the league table. Below we have a prediction for this match.

Venezia are rock bottom in Serie A with eight points. They were confined there by a fourth defeat on the bounce when they fell 3-0 to Bologna. That loss was another show of their weaknesses in attack.

Eusebio Di Francesco's charges have failed to score in three of their last four matches. Their return of only 11 goals so far, makes Venezia one of the weakest in attack.

Como aren’t coming here on a much stronger footing either. They did manage to add to their tally two points from the last three matches.

The latest of those came in a 1-1 draw with Monza at the close of November. However, they remain stuck in the relegation region on 11 points, three more than their hosts.

The tricky nature of this particular encounter is that Como could find themselves dropping to the foot of the standings if they lose. Cesc Fabregas’ men will need to make things happen soon, having last won a league game in September.
