As one of the host nations for the 2026 World Cup, the USA received automatic qualification to the tournament and will feature in Group D, alongside Paraguay, Australia and either Kosovo or Turkey.
The USMNT ended 2025 in impressive form, going unbeaten in their final five matches of the year (W4 D1), but their first game of 2026 ended in defeat, 5-2 at the hands of Belgium on Saturday.
The hosts have won eight of their last 10 home games across all competitions (D1 L3). Their only defeats during this period were against South Korea and Mexico before their loss to Belgium at the weekend.
