Uruguay are fancied by many to go deep into this World Cup. That didn’t look to be the case in their opening fixture as they laboured to a 1-0 win over an Egyptian side that played without the influential Mo Salah. They were shocking at times with passes aplenty going astray and Luis Suarez had a nightmare of a game missing some easy chances. Only a late goal from Giminez got them the three points and saved their blushes after 15 goal attempts, only four of which were on target. Surely, Uruguay must play better in this game and know that a win should take them through to the last sixteen.For Saudi Arabia it’s going to take a lot to get their confidence back so soon after losing 5-0 to Russia in their opening game. The writing was on the wall from the moment the hosts took a 12th minute lead.  Yet the Saudi Arabian side had 61 percent of possession in the game and lost 5-0. With all that possession they only managed six shots and not one of those was on target. They are likely to struggle again in this game as they still search a first victory at the World Cup finals. Go for Uruguay to win the game, be ahead at both half and full time and hopefully play much better than they did on Friday.
