The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 has entered the knockout stages, and in the Round of 16, we are about to see a dominant Turkey side face Sweden, which finished with a 1-4 record in the group stages at Xiaomi Arena. Here's our match prediction. 

Turkey was considered a dark horse in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025. However, they have now established themselves as title contenders heading into the round of 16. 

The 12 Giant Men were a dominant force in the group stages of Group A. They finished with a perfect 5-0 record on the table despite all eyes being on tournament favorites to do so.

Their last match in the group stage was against Serbia. It was a tense affair, but they managed to prevail 95-90 at Xiaomi Arena. Alperen Sengun finished with a game-high 28 points and had 13 rebounds for his team.

It comes as a surprise that Sweden managed to progress from the group stages of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025. In Group B, they settled for fourth place, and thanks to a better point differential, they secured their spot in the knockout stages. 

The Blue and Yellow had one of the most disappointing starts, losing their first two games before beating Great Britain 78-59 in their third try.

Instead of building on that momentum, they suffered consecutive losses against Montenegro (87-81) and, most recently, against Lithuania (74-71).
