It wasn't a good weekend for either of these two clubs as both lost in Serie A. Torino were defeated by Sampdoria who had been bottom of the table, while AC Milan lost at home to league leaders Inter. That loss for Torino left them 10th in the table but only a point behind the final Europa League position. It was their second straight league defeat though after a surprise home loss to Lecce. So that's two league losses this season and both against clubs currently in the relegation zone. It's all a bit of a comedown after winning their first two league games against Sassuolo and Atalanta, both above them in the table. With two games lost to Wolves as they exited the Europa League in the play-off round, these are worrying times for Torino.

Milan are 12th in the league but only behind their opponents on goal difference. Their league season began with a loss at Udinese but then they recovered with two 1-0 victories over Verona and Brescia. The weekend saw them host league leaders Inter who maintained their 100% league record with a 2-0 victory. Milan have won three of their last four away league games and a double chance bet on them to win or draw this game can be a winning one.
