Tottenham may be second in the Premier League but by the time this game begins they could be 13 points behind Chelsea. Getting the runners-up spot they should have had last season is their main aim and winning the FA Cup wouldn't be bad either. The problem they have now is that top striker Harry Kane is out injured so they have to hope that Eriksen, Alli and Son can supply the goals. A major feature of this season has been the way Spurs have turned White Hart Lane into a fortress just as they begin plans to leave it. 14 home league games have produced 12 wins and two draws with just seven goals conceded and they have won the last nine league games in a row. Southampton are 10th in the table 23 points behind Spurs. It's been an inconsistent season for them but goals have certainly been flowing in the past two league games with a 4-0 win at Sunderland and a 4-3 victory at Watford. They seem to have found a new superstar in Gabbiadini who has already scored six goals for them. Knowing Southampton he'll be sold to one of the top four sooner or later. Spurs are in top form at home and can get a home win over Southampton to keep up their bid for second place.
