Round two of the outdoor hard court Cincinnati Open sees Adrian Mannarino face 19th seed Tomas Machac. The qualifier will hope to make it four wins so far this week in this tournament. Here's our match prediction.

Mannarino had to qualify to get into the main draw of this Masters tournament. The Frenchman managed to achieve that without losing a set.  Round one of the main draw saw him defeat Jordan Thompson 6-2 6-2.

He's now up to 79th in the live rankings. His previous tournament was in Toronto where two qualifying matches were won before a first round loss to eventual champion Ben Shelton. He now has a 7-14 hard court record for 2025, so big recent improvement.

Tomas Machac has only had one previous match against Mannarino. That was in last year's Indian Wells tournament and Mannarino won in straight sets. Machac will hope for revenge here and set up a round three match against either 13th seed Tommy Paul or unseeded Pedro Martinez.

The 24-year-old has won 13 of his 19 hard court matches played this year and is 21st in the live rankings. He's struggling for form though with his last two matches being lost (one on this surface) and three of the last four.
