Tennesse Titans are the top seeds in the AFC. They host the fourth seeded Cincinnati Bengals in the divisional play-offs. The winners take on either Buffalo or Kansas City in the AFC championship match. Tennessee ended the regular season with a 12-5 record that saw them win the AFC South, three wins clear of Indianapolis. They have won eight of their 12 games against fellow sides in the AFC and have won their last three matches. They will be confident of success with home advantage and have won six of their last seven at the Nissan Stadium. Only 20 points have been conceded in their last three home matches, 17 of those scored by San Francisco.

Cincinnati had to get past Las Vegas in the wild card round, their first time in the play-offs since 2015. They never trailed in that match, having taken a seven point lead in the first quarter and eventually winning 26-19. The Bengals had a 10-7 season record, finishing top of the AFC North by one win from Pittsburgh. The win in the wild card round was their first play-off victory since 1990. That ended the NFL's longest run without a play-off success, but can they build on it?  The win was their fourth in their last five matches but this is going to be tough against a Titans side who have had a rest and are near full-strength.
