The New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays meet at Tropicana Field in Florida for the final game of a four game series. The Rays will be looking to make it two straight wins after taking the previous game 3-1 while the Yankees will be looking to make it three wins from four after taking the first two games of the series. New York has had a wonderful start to the 2022 season and currently holds baseball’s best record with 33 wins and 14 losses. With most sportsbooks having them as the second-favorites to win the World Series behind the LA Dodgers, Yankees fans will be hoping this is finally the year that the 27-time champions can end their title drought and win the World Series for the first time since 2009. They take on a Rays team that have had a strong start to the season in their own right, sitting second in the AL East with a record of 27 wins and 19 losses. 

Two talented pitchers face off in this one with Shane McClanahan taking the mound for the Rays while Luis Serevino gets the start for the Yankees. McClanahan has had a strong start to the season with a 4-2 record with a 2.06 ERA. Tampa Bay has won the last four games with McClanahan as the starting pitcher and the second-year pitcher has been pitching lights out in his recent outings, allowing only one run in his last three starts. Serevino for the visiting Yankees has also had a solid start with a 3-0 record and a 3.02 ERA. The Bronx Bombers had previously won Serevino’s first seven starts to the season but the 28-year-old righty couldn’t get any run support and was let down by the bullpen despite pitching seven shutout innings in the 5-0 loss to the White Sox. A pitcher's duel looks to be on the cards here with both starters in excellent form.
