Belgian Raphael Collignon is playing in his first ATP Tour final. The seventh seed faces unseeded Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final of the Swiss Open. Between them they have played six three-setters and our prediction is more than 2.5 sets.
Collignon has played in three Challenger Tour finals this year, winning two of them. One was on clay in Monza three months ago.
The Belgian has a 16-3 record on clay this year. Saturday’s semi-final saw him defeat sixth seed Juan Manuel Cerundolo in three sets. He had to come from behind to do so, after losing the first set 6-1. Three of his four matches this week have required a deciding set to be played.
This is the 14th ATP Tour clay court final for Stefanos Tsitsipas and his first final on this surface since April 2024.
Tsitsipas has a 9-6 record on clay this year. This is the first time in 2026 he’s made it past the last 16 of a clay court tournament.
The Greek has also had a tough route to this title decider with each of his last three matches going to a deciding set. Saturday saw him beat Alexander Shevchenko in three but he has won the opening set in all his matches this week.
