Standard Liege starts their First Division A regular season campaign with a home game against Genk. It is three years since Genk won the league title while for Standard Liege it is much longer, having last won in 2008/09. The two giants of Belgian football face off hoping to return to the glory days this season. They’ve both had great preseason results and as official business starts, each will hope to carry on.
