St Etienne finished top of Group C but it looks unlikely indeed that they will be making it through to the last sixteen of the Europa League. Last Thursday saw them lose 3-0 away to Manchester United in the first leg of this tie and it looks mission impossible for them to get through. A bad week was completed when they lost 2-1 away at Montpellier at the weekend leaving them four points adrift of the Europa League qualification places. It was another good weekend for Manchester United as they beat Blackburn 2-1 away to reach the FA Cup Quarter finals. This is their last game before the EFL Cup final against Southampton at Wembley next Sunday. With a 3-0 lead in the bag, a much weakened side is likely to play in this game. United only won one of their away games in the group stages but with confidence high, they should be able to finish the job off here and get a narrow away win.
