Will the magic of the FA Cup third round stir up some fight from Southampton in front of their home fans? The Saints host Championship side Swansea City, with the Swans seeking to avenge their 3-2 loss to Southampton at the same stage of this competition back in January 2022. What will our prediction be for this match?

Premier League outfit Southampton sit rooted to the foot of the table with just six points from 20 games. Swansea City occupy twelfth spot in the Championship table, with 34 points from their 26 games. Both sides are yet to play an FA Cup tie this season.

Southampton’s recent form has been dismal, they have lost eight and drawn two of their last ten and come into this game on the back of three straight defeats. A 1-0 home loss to West Ham, followed by a 2-1 defeat away to Crystal Palace and a 5-0 home thrashing by Brentford last week.
