Southampton are in second place in this group with four points from their three games. Three of those came in their opening game though as they defeated current group leaders Sparta Prague 3-0 at home. Since that win they haven't scored in this group drawing 0-0 at Hapoel Beer Sheva and losing 1-0 away at Inter. They aren't in the best of form with only two wins in their last seven games. The goals aren't flowing that much either, take away a 3-1 home win over poor travellers Burnley and the Saints have managed two goals in six games. The loss to Chelsea last weekend was their first home defeat of the season and they'd won five in a row before that. Inter are bottom of the group but only a point below Southampton. It's been a difficult season with two losses to open this group before the win over Southampton. In Serie A they are down in 12th, 13 points behind league leaders Juventus and have lost four of their last five league games with four defeats in six away games. Frank de Boer was sacked this week, could that spark some revival? An awkward game to predict but with both sides having a few scoring problems, I go for under 2.5 goals as the tip.
