It's been a trip into the unknown this week for Solana Sierra. The lucky loser faces unseeded Cristina Bucsa for a place in the fourth round at WImbledon. Can Sierra continue her surprising run of wins? Read our match prediction below.

Before this tournament, Sierra had only played one professional grass court match. That saw her lose in the first qualifying round of this tournament last year. The 21-year-old is a clay court specialist with three ITF titles won this year.

Sierra won two qualifiers before being beaten by Talia Gibson. Then she was reinstated as a lucky loser and has beaten Olivia Gadecki and Katie Boulter to reach round three.and has risen to a career-high 77th in the live rankings.

The winner of this match will face either sixth seed Madison Keys or unseeded Laura Siegemund in round four.

Cristina Bucsa is having her best tournament of the year and is 90th in the live rankings. Before this week, the Spaniard had played 17 tournaments and failed to get past round two in any of them.

Bucsa had reached round two here in each of the past couple of years. This year, the 27-year-old has beaten Anca Todoni and then defeated 22nd seed Donna Vekic for the loss of just four games.
