Group E of the Euro Championships qualifiers is one of the most open; even after playing five games, and picking just one point Azerbaijan, who are bottom, still have a chance at qualification for the 2020 finals. Wales have a game in hand and have picked six points from the four played. They are three points behind Slovakia, whom they beat 1 – 0 in the first leg meeting, and that happens to be one of the two losses the Slovaks have registered in the qualifiers.
