Serbia welcomes Slovenia to the Stadion Rajko Mitić for this second match in Group 4 of the B League in the United Nations League. Both teams are coming of home losses in their opening round matches and they will know that another defeat could end their chances of topping the group. Serbia are especially in a desperate situation as two home losses would be catastrophic for them. They came into this competition with a loss to Denmark in a friendly international back in March but prior to that they were on a eight game unbeaten run that included seven wins and one draw. Serbia have been excellent at home with the loss in the last match being their first in eight matches. They will be looking for their first ever win against Slovenia as they have lost and drawn the previous two matches against them.

Slovenia lost their opening match 2-0 at home to Sweden and will want to win this match if they are to keep their hopes of winning the group alive. Slovenia had a decent World Cup qualifying campaign where they finished in equal third spot with Slovakia but were well behind the two top teams, Croatia and Russia. They have proven tough to beat on the road and have only lost one of their last six away matches with four draws and one win.
