Secton Paloise (also known as Pau) still have a chance of making the Top 14 play-offs.  They are tenth in the table but only four points behind the final play-off position. This weekend they host RC Toulon who are third in the table. Here's our match prediction.

There are three games to go in the main season and Section Paloise need to finish in the top six to secure a play-off position.  Their final two games are away at Vannes and at home to Stade Rochelais.

Their most recent match saw them get a vital 29-27 win at Lyon. They led that match 26-10 at half-time but just hung on to win the game. That was needed after three successive league losses.

Home form this season has seen them win eight home games and lose three. Their most recent home match was lost to Bordeaux but they had won the five played before that defeat.

Toulon are third in the table but 17 points behind leaders Stade Toulousain. They only trail second placed Bordeaux by a couple of points. Finishing second would take them into the play-off semi-finals.

They are struggling at present with two succcesive league losses. On the road, only three away league games have been won with eight defeats. We tip Section Paloise to win this match.
