Seattle Seahawks look to continue their bright start to the new NFL season. They are second in the NFC West with a 6-2 record for the season. This weekend they host the Tampa Bay Bucaneers who are third in the NFC South with a 2-5 record. The Seahawks won their first two matches of the season with narrow victories over Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The combined winning margin for those two games was just three points. They lost their next game to New Orleans Saints but recovered well with a three-match winning streak, though again two were by a margin of less than five points. Their winning run ended at Baltimore Ravens but they returned to winning ways last weekend with a victory at Atlanta Falcons. They are currently in the wild card qualification places and will look to strengthen those qualiication hopes with a win in this match.

Tampa Bay Bucaneers aren't looking like making the play-offs. They have only had two wins this season and are 13th in the overall NFC table, four wins behind the wild card positions. Tampa look like finishing with something similar to the 5-11 record they achieved last season. It's 12 years since they reached the play-offs and come into this match having lost their last three matches. They had been 2-2 for the season with wins over the Carolina Panthers and LA Rams but the past three matches against the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans have all been lost. Go for Seattle to get the win in this game.
