Major League Baseball on Thursday sees a classic NL rivalry when the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers are going for the sweep here as they close out their four game series at Oracle Park in downtown San Francisco. Los Angeles will be looking to build upon their league best 71-33 record, which sees them holding a comfortable 11.5 game lead over the second-place Padres. The Giants come into this game desperately needing a win if they are to turn their form around and sneak into the playoffs. San Francisco has a record of 51-54 and a recent losing streak has seen them slip 5.5 games back in the NL Wild Card race.
