Purdy, a rookie taken in the seventh round of the draft, did an excellent job stepping into a high pressure situation and delivered with a 25 for 37, 210 yard, two touchdown, one interception performance to lead his team to the win. He’ll face a much different test today however, against one of the league’s top defenses who have now had the entire week to gameplan for the 22-year-old.

We’re going to back under 37 total points to be scored as our bet for this game. This is a ridiculously low total but there are justifiable reasons for it. Firstly, the San Francisco defense has been playing out of their minds recently and rank first in the entire league in terms of average points against this season at 15.8. Not to be overlooked is the Bucs defense, who rank fifth in the NFL in terms of points per game allowed at just 18.3. The Niners quarterback situation will also play a key role in whether or not this game goes over the total as the Bucs will be better equipped to stop Purdy than the Dolphins were. This has all the makings of a defensive showcase as both offenses are likely to struggle – take the under here despite the low total.
