Seattle Seahawks are 8-5 for the season and 2-2 in games against other sides in the NFC West.  They are ranked fifth in the NFC so are in prime position to clinch one of the wild card places. Their season got off to a poor start as they lost both of their opening matches. They won their next two and shared the couple after that to go 3-3 for the season. Hopes of moving forwards were dashed as they lost two of the next three but they have won their last four to take them into second place in NFC West. Their title hopes are over as LA Chargers have already clinched the title, but they will be confident of getting a fifth win in a row away at San Francisco 49ers who they recently beat 43-16 at home.

San Francisco are down in the dumps at present and they are 3-10 for the season. All four of their games against the other teams in NFC West have been lost. Their disappointing season has never really got going and they lost seven of their first eight games. They managed to get a win over Oakland but then lost the next three in a row before beating Denver Broncos at home last week. The tip here is for Seattle to get the away win.
