Romania vs Spain Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Spain may have had a disappointing World Cup and European Nations League, but like Germany they are back in winning form now. Four games in this Euro 2020 qualifying group have produced four wins. The goals have been flowing in at a steady rate with 11 scored and just two conceded. Away from home, they have beaten both Malta and the Faroe Islands so tougher games now begin for them on the road. The Spaniards have won five games in a row since their collapse in the European Nations League when losing to both Croatia and England in successive matches. Away form in Euro qualifiers has seen them win 12 in a row since a loss to Slovakia five years ago. 

Romania will be glad to be playing at home in this group. Three of their four games to date have been on the road but their qualification hopes still look good. They are third in the group, five points behind Spain but only behind Sweden on head-to-head results. That's due to the 2-1 loss in Sweden in their first match of this group. Since then, Romania have beaten the Faroe Islands at home, grabbed a point in Norway with a 92nd minute goal (they were 2-0 down with 13 minutes to go) and beat Malta 4-0 away. Now they have six group games left and four are at home. They have only one loss in their last 13 home games and no losses in their last 19 home Euro qualifiers last losing one 16 years ago. A bet on over 2.5 goals is the tip for this game.
