Romania vs Norway Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Group F in the Euro 2020 qualifiers is heading for an exciting finish. Spain top the group with a five point lead so look certain to take the first automatic qualifying spot. As for the second, with three fixtures remaining, there are three sides within four points of each other. Second place is currently held by Sweden but they still have to host Spain and travel to Romania. They have a point lead over the Romanians who have two of their final three games at home, the other being a trip to Spain. Norway are in fourth place and three points behind Romania so a win in this game is vitally important to them with their other couple of games being against the bottom two sides in the table.

Romania have won two of their three home qualifiers, the other being a loss to the group leaders. That loss to Spain is their only loss in the last six matches played. Home form has been good over the past couple of years with only Spain and the Netherlands winning in 15 matches. Two of their last three home games have seen both teams score, that includes the Faroe Islands getting on the scoresheet.

The reverse fixture between these two countries ended in a 2-2 draw. Norway will be regretting not winning that match as they led 2-0 with 13 minutes to go and conceded a 92nd minute equalizer.  That was probably luck getting its own back after Norway needed a 97th minute goal to get a point against Sweden. Five of the seven Norway games in this group have seen both teams score. The only two exceptions to that rule were against Malta and the Faroe Islands. A bet on both teams to score in this game looks a winner.
