Roma are second in Serie A and only a point behind leaders Juventus, though they have played a game more than their rivals. It's home form that is keeping their title challenge going with nine wins out of nine and they love scoring goals at home. They have managed at least three goals in all but one of their last four home games so this is going to be tough for Sampdoria who have already played at Roma in the league this season losing 3-2.despite leading 2-1 at half time. They are currently down in 13th in the table and the cup is their best chance of any real excitement this season. Current form is pretty appalling though with no wins in their last five games. Away form isn't anything to write home about either with just one win in ten matches on the road and they have lost three of the last five. Roma can get the home win here.
