Remo Stars begin their title defense in the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League with a home match against Rivers United. The Gateway Stadium is the venue hosting this curtain-raiser. Here's our match prediction.
After securing promotion to the Nigerian Football League in the 2021-22 season, Remo Stars established themselves as perennial title challengers in the following seasons.
In the previous season, however, it was the Ikenne outfit that had the last laugh as they conquered Nigeria's top division. They finished at the top to clinch their first-ever league title in club history.
The Sky Blue Stars managed to impress in the closing stages of the previous campaign, suffering just two defeats in their last seven league games (W3, D2).
