The Select Car Leasing Stadium will play host to one of the more one-sided FA Cup Second round ties on Sunday. Reading face Harborough Town of the Southern Premier Central league and the Royals will be confident of stinging the Bees with a solid win here. Let’s check out our match prediction for the clash!
Part of what makes this game so much in favour of Reading is the Royals home record. They have played eleven matches at home this season in League and Cup. Winning ten and conceding just five goals, scoring 22. That is an outstanding record.
They come into this game unbeaten in their last four games, which included a 2-1 win at Peterborough last weekend and then a 2-2 draw with Barnsley, again on the road, in midweek. They beat Fleetwood 2-0 in the First round to earn this Second round tie.
Mitch Austin will know his Harborough Town team have nothing to lose in this fixture, but the Bees are going to find it tough. They lie 15th in the Southern Premier Central and come into the game having thumped Banbury United 4-1 in the league last weekend.
This will be their first FA Cup tie against league opponents this season as they defeated Tonbridge 4-1 away from home in the First round.

Our Reading vs Harborough Town FC Prediction
Our prediction for Reading vs. Harborough Town in the FA Cup Second round is: Reading to win to nil.
Reading drew one of the lowest ranked teams left in the FA Cup this season, and given their ourstanding home record against teams in much higher divisions this season, it is hard to make a case for the non-league side here. The Royals are the clear favourites to win this game and in truth, they should do so without Harborough Town troubling the scoresheet.
