For the second straight season in the UEFA Champions League knockouts, Liverpool and PSG are going head-to-head. The two will be meeting in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, with the Wednesday clash set to be staged at the Parc des Princes. Read on to find our prediction of the match.

Liverpool are coming into this game limping and will be hoping their record against French teams plays out. The Premier League side has seven wins in the last 11 matches against French sides. Arne Slot’s men have also posted wins in six of their last eight UCL quarter-final ties.
However, they are coming from a humiliating defeat and elimination from the FA Cup. They were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City for their second straight loss and fourth in seven matches. The Reds aren’t on a good run on the road either, losing four times in the last five matches. Their only win in that period was against struggling Wolves.

PSG had the luxury of resting players ahead of this match, with none of Vitinha, Joao Neves, or skipper Marquinhos starting against Toulouse. These three could reclaim their places in midweek.
